Crillages-Grillages (2002–2003) «The red dotted wire-netting creates new topographic maps that pave new ways- very intimate ways of a disordered soul; and these ways draw a new imaginary and virtual space. The wirenetting (Grillage) becomes now a Crillage, a scream controlled by terror. This grille emits the sound of tears. What might have appeared as innocent drawings of a red wire mesch results from strong, seismic emotions. It seems as if a tremor had disturbed the sensitive personality of the artist.» Marie Shek, Jerusalem 2003
